La presencia del melanoma maligno cutáneo en felinos exóticos está pobremente reportada. Una hembra de tigre Bengala blanca (Panthera tigris tigris), 6 años, no castrada, solitaria y viviendo un ambiente adecuado, fue evaluada por la una masa cerca ojo izquierdo. histopatología biopsia remitida mostró melanocitos con características anaplásicas (pleomorfismo, citomegalia, cariomegalia, binucleación), área hemorrágica foco inflamatorio fibrinoso. El diagnóstico histopatológico maligno. Dos meses después diagnóstico, tigresa manifestó deterioro considerable pérdida peso redonda el cuello. En aquel momento, su tamaño, obstruía totalmente visión. Con base esto, razones humanitarias, animal eutanasiado. Al momento necropsia, se observó metástasis pulmones, pleura riñones. Este caso evidencia importancia dar a conocer presentación melanomas especies poco reportadas.
